Lefkada has a typical Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild winters and sunny summers, with an average of 26° in August. The rains are mostly concentrated in the months of October through February, while the summer although with higher temperatures, is mitigated by winds, which blow from May through september, making the island an ideal destination for windsurfing.
